In this introductory course, you will:
- Learn how to capture and process high-resolution maps with drone technology
- Create 3D models for virtual reality scenes and volumetric measurements
- Leverage AI machine code learning for extracting features from a drone-produced map for GIS mapping and asset management
- Import your aerial maps into other software platforms like Google Earth and QGIS

In-Person Intro to UAS Mapping, 3/18/24 - 3/25/24, 6PM - 8PM
The Inroduction to UAS Mapping course is taught at the Collin College Technical Campus in Allen, Texas and usually entails five evenings of instruction (Monday - Friday, 6PM - 8PM).
Generally, there are no refunds once a class session is purchased; however, DWDI reserves the right to work with each student on an individual basis regarding refunds. If after purchasing a class a student is unable to attend for any reason, DWDI will credit the purchase toward an upcoming class, which must be taken within one calendar year of purchase.
